Course Description
 
S1-S3 BGE
 
In First Year pupils are given a taster of the main topics of RMPS. They will begin by looking at Big Questions and exploring the different views that exist. Over the course of the year they will cover topics such as Inspiring People, Myths and Meanings and Religious Ideas. The S1 RMPS course is designed for pupils to develop important thinking skills through a variety of active and creative activities.
 
 
S2
Within Second Year RMPS, students will be looking at different people beliefs and the sacrifices they make in our Sacrifice Unit. In addition they will have the opportunity to explore the topics of Islamophobia and Issues of Life and Death. In S2 students will be focusing on shaping their own responses to moral questions and developing moral decision making skills.
 
 
 
S3
During the third year RMPS course pupils will explore contemporary issues in Medical Ethics and Religion and Justice as well as studying aspects of World Religions. In S3 students will begin to explore challenges to their own beliefs and values; whilst consolidating skills they have developed in S1 and S2.
