  •  The S3 Parent Evening was held on a very wintery night.
  •  The Wider Achievement class who work with Beyonder made a respectable £662.81 in their Micro Tyco challenge.  Well done
  • The S2 Careers Event had a record number of businesses in attendance on Tuesday. The S2 behaved impeccably and there was some networking with the companies who have shown an interest in further work with our pupils.

  •  14 pupils attended Mr Hindson’s Saturday class for English 
  • This week Miss McEwan found out that we have been awarded £3,000 for much needed fitness suite equipment.
  • Assemblies this week heard from Mr Boland’s personal development class about their plastic bottle recycling proposals which are about to be put in place as soon as the recycling bins arrive.
  •   S1 assembly were introduced to the art of Debating and public speaking to advertise the newly formed debating club which Miss Hussain will run.
  •  All of S2 heard from a member of our partner  Jewish Community, Rosa, about her personal experience of the Holocaust. It was a very emotional account which captured the interest of S2.
  •  S3 option interviews for S4 have been taking place all week. The Pastoral Care team have been meeting with each S3 pupil and their parent/carers.
  •  The Wider Achievement group undertaking ‘The Money for Life Challenge’ with Beyonder took part in a photo competition and won! The team won £200 bonus bond shopping vouchers (multi store gift voucher) to be shared amongst them.
