Girls football team success

The Girl's Football Team made it to the final of the Glasgow's Schools Competition that was held 21/5/2013.

The girls were were outstanding and truly deserved a place in the final, where they played Shawlands Academy. Rikki Collins made an amazing save to keep the score level, but broke a wrist in the process!

After switching goal keepers the Castlemilk High School girls lost two goals. As the game progressed Castlemilk began to attack more and Holly Richardson scored making the score 2-1.

The girls played 10 games in total yesterday and the only game they were beaten was the final. This shows their determination and dedication to the team and I applaud their efforts.

A big thank you goes to all staff co-operation in allowing pupil's to represent the school.  All girls had a fantastic day - well doner girls!
