Uganda Celebration
Pupils, parents and staff gathered at the school last Thursday night to celebrate the success of the Castlemilk High’s 2011 humanitarian project to Uganda. Mrs O’Neill welcomed the guests and 8 pupils each presented their favourite pictures and memories of the visit last June, where they volunteered at primary schools in Jinja and the surrounding area. After the presentations, a DVD of their experiences was shown that helped give family and friends a feel for the adventure. The school would like to thank everyone who supported the project and helped make a difference to children in Uganda and enabled our pupils to develop their life skills.
