Here's the latest news!

Into December and still lots happening in school this week.

        ·         Attendance was around 91%.

·         The some pupils were involved in the making of a DVD this week in conjunction with Glasgow University on the subject of school improvement in Scottish Education. The film will be shown at an education conference in Cincinnati and next year in Glasgow

Mr Boland received feedback so far which is particularly pleasing to read,

Thank you so much for the time and trouble you took to welcome us to your School to film the DVD on school improvement.  The pupils and staff were delightful and engaging, the students from Glasgow School of Art were amazed at how articulate and involved the pupils were.  The footage we filmed is a testament to your pupils ability to describe what they learn, how they learn and in what ways teachers support their learning.  The young people from your school were confident, committed and caring.  It was simply a pleasure to work with them.

The DVD will be finished in the next two weeks, once the final DVD is completed I will send you a copy.  I will also ensure that the unedited footage of the children from your school will be sent to you for your records, the footage is fantastic evidence of the outstanding work your school is involved in.”
