Castlemilk High mentioned in the Scottish Parliament
Castlemilk High's girls netball team has recieved further recognition of their outstanding contribution to school sports.
MSP Charlie Gordon lodged a motion to acknowledge their great acheivement!

Castlemilk High School: Daily Record School Sports Team of the Year
"The Parliament congratulates the members of Castlemilk High School netball team and their coach, Laura McEwen, on achieving the title of Daily Record School Sports Team of the Year; notes that the group of 14 to 16-year-olds won the award for achievements that included winning what is regarded as the prestigious Glasgow Schools Netball Tournament and for their dedication to the sport, including working to recruit their fellow pupils, through presentations to school assemblies and by tutoring classes, in a bid to build a netball legacy in Castlemilk, and wishes every success to the two members of the team who are set to take part on a humanitarian mission to Uganda, where they will be leading local children in a netball tournament."
