Sew Fabulous
S1 pupils visited the Maureen Cope Hall on Tuesday to continue with their Sew Fabulous community project.
Working in partnership with Ardenglen Housing Association, pupils are learning how to recycle unwanted material into festive decorations. They work alongside adult members of the community who have difficulty engaging with employment.
The aim is for the pupils to develop of confidence, interpersonal skills and awareness of how to effectively work within a team and the efficiency of teamwork. On successful completion of the programme pupils will be awarded a certificate that celebrates wider achievement.
