Here are some other stories from this week:

o   Darren Campbell, PE student teacher, leaves CHS to embark on a bright future in teaching. Also good luck to Terry McCann, Social Subjects supply, who also finished on Friday 22nd November. All the best for the future.

 Elodie’s cookery class with S5/6 after school on Wednesday made Croque Monsieur this week

o   3 xS4 focus groups for NAT 4/5 have been identified

 o  Toni Mckay and Chloe Watson as our Young Ambassadors delivered a PE lesson to P2/3 pupils in Miller Primary.

 o There was near hysteriaon Wednesday 20th November as the well-known (?) Glasgow group Supanova. They layed to an audience of around 150 pupils in the social area. Credit to Chloe Drummond S6  who organised the event

 o  Mrs Campbell represented the school on Sunday  at Castlemilk Praise which is a joint celebration of all faiths in the community.

 o  Mr Munro attended the Castlemilk Christmas Fair on Saturday 23rd November supporting Ardenglen Housing Association, one of our business partners.

 o  A former pupil (Stacey Anderson) will observe lessons in the Science department on Thursdays to support her application for studying to teach Chemistry.

 o   Mr Oberg and the garden planners –pupils and staff – met after school on Wednesday 20th November to put their ideas together on the garden project. Mr Boland, Mrs Barber, Mr Gardner, Mrs Granger, Mr Zertali and Mrs Miller from the office are all involved.
