Mininewsround week beginning 13th January
Here are some stories from the week beginning 13th January.
· The S2 industry awareness event on Tuesday 14th January went really well with 13 representatives discussing possible careers with the pupils. The S2 behaviour and engagement with the visitors was excellent.
· Mr Boland’s Higher Media class was presented with a ‘highly commended’ framed certificate at the Molindinar Awards last Friday 10th January for their film on Castlemilk.
· S3 Parents Night on Tuesday 14th January was well attended -72% parent turnout.
· 30 x S3 pupils are attending the S3 Campus day at Strathclyde University today.
· Pastoral care staff conducted S3 option interviews involving parents too.
· Elodie’s French cookery class started again this week with senior pupils making onion soup.
· Welcome to Michael Seenan, the Technical student who will be with us for 10 weeks.
