ICAS Glasgow Schools Event
There was an ICAS Glasgow Schools Event on Tuesday 27th October 2015.
One hundred and fifty young people from all over Glasgow, with an interest in a career in accountancy or finance, attended an information and workshop event run by ICAS. Three pupils attended from Castlemilk High.
The ICAS Foundation is a Scottish registered charity established to help make a difference to young people who are in need of financial and mentoring assistance to help them on their journey into a professional career in accountancy or finance.
The ICAS Foundation awards bursaries, of up to £2,500 per year to individuals whose parents or guardians earn under a certain threshold per year.
Bursaries are open to applications from High school students who are applying to study on an approved course in accountancy or finance.
