Here is another update for the week ending 29th August 2014. 
 
Another senior pupils has secured employment as an admininstration assistant with Glasgow Life through the Commonwealth Apprentice Initiative.
 
S5 pupils Ross Johnston and Toni McKay attended the Glasgow Training Conference for Sports Ambassadors at City Chambers on Thursday 28th August 2014.
 
S5 pupil Toni McKay now has the responsibility of being the girls football coach, Tuesdays after school.
 
 The Gardening Club met this week to discuss how to move forward with our garden.   
 
Supported study has started! 
 
Mrs King attended the formal opening of the Castlemilk Senior Centre on Thursday 28th August 2014, opened by the Lord Provost.  
 
Mrs King also attended the 20TH AGM of the Youth Complex. It was a fantastic evening of celebration with CHS pupils taking centre stage for all the events including many former pupils. Charles Lang chaired the evening which included drama, music and poetry performances. Dean Thornton and Caitlin Mclay were presented with trophies for being the most committed members of the Youth Complex.
 
Finally, the Drama department are delighted to have been gifted lots of costumes and shelving from Glasgow University.
