Christmas Hampers for the elderly
Each year at this time Castlemilk High pupils find some way of raising money to provide needy pensioners in our community with a hamper full of tasty goodies. This year the S3 ASDAN class worked together with Glasgow Life to get everything in order for a visit to the Maureen Cope Hall to hand out a sack full of hampers to Ardenglen Housing Pensioners.
The pupils were kindly given something to drink, a buffet and a hotly contested game of bingo with the pensioners after handing out the boxes of treats.
The school is very grateful for the partnership working with Ardenglen Housing Association and the opportunities our pupils get to engage in their community and would like to thank Fiona McGovern and her colleagues for their continued support.
