War Horse Cinema trip
On Friday 10th February, thirty second-years attended a GFT showing of Steven Spielberg's 'War Horse', based on their class novel by Michael Morpurgo.
It was an excellent event, where pupils did not even have to pay for tickets or the bus, so full credit to GYFF.
The film was gripping, dramatic and emotional, and pupils enjoyed it thoroughly. There may even have been a few tears as 'Joey' struggled through the barbed-wire battlefield.
It goes without saying that pupils behaved brilliantly and were a credit to the school and to themselves.
