Girl's football team win
On a wet and windy Wednesday night our Girls Football Team faced Irvine Royal in the first round of the Scottish Cup at Glasgow Green. This was the teams first 11-a-side match so we weren't sure what to expect.
The team got off to a good start with our captain, Holly, scoring the first goal within the first few minutes. We had one slip up in the game which cost us Irvine's only goal. The team worked tirelessly in the pouring rain and cold conditions and as a unit they were victorious. They won 8-1 with the Captain scoring 6 of those goals.
We are a fairly new and inexperienced team but tonight showed that with dedication and teamwork we can achieve success! Bring on round two!!
