School Craft Award 2012
Every year pupils in Castlemilk High enter the Trades House of Glasgow Craft Competition. The judges from the Trades House visit every school in Glasgow and look at pupils' course work. The course work is either in the form of the projects they make or their design folios.

We have had winners every year since 1994. This year, three girls previously have continued the Castlemilk High tradition by winning awards for their respective projects. Yet another example of girl power!

Demi Miller picked up Second prize for Int. 2 Woodworking Skills while Kayleigh Bradley and Chloe Matthews were awarded joint 3rd Prize for their Craft and Design Folios. Demi Miller's mum (who is a former pupil of CHS) was there to see her "wee girl" pick up her award from the new Lord Provost of Glasgow, who just happens to be a former pupil of St Margaret Marys.

Well done girls!
