DYW

Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) is the Scottish Government’s national strategy for strengthening links between businesses and education with the headline aim of reducing youth unemployment by 40% by 2021.

The strategy is delivered by employer led regional groups across Scotland and Glasgow was the first DYW Group to launch back in 2014.

Since then, DYW Regional Groups have been launched in Ayrshire, Edinburgh, East Lothian & Midlothian, Fife, North East, North Highland and West Region

Castlemilk High School has it's own dedicated DYW Team located along the Pastoral Care corridor on the ground floor and are always happy to see pupils from S1 onwards.
