Session 2011-2012 - Spanish class visit La Tasca
On Friday 27 January, the S4 Intermediate 1 Spanish pupils, along with Mrs Kennedy and Mrs Granger, went on a visit to La Tasca Spanish Restaurant. The class have been studying the topic of “Eating Out” and this trip gave them the opportunity to try some of the Spanish tapas dishes they had been learning about. They put their language learning into context by ordering their meal in Spanish, as well as asking for the menu and the bill. Our Spanish speaking waitress was very impressed. We tried dishes such as patatas bravas, chorizo, tortilla española and paella, as well as churros for dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
